In your integration course at Colón, you will learn the German language in spoken and written form and acquire the knowledge necessary for your everyday life, your training and your career! Integration courses are subsidised language courses. You can have the costs covered by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and also via your job centre.
Integration courses are divided into 6 course sections (modules) plus the orientation course “Living in Germany”. Each module comprises 100 teaching hours: A1 = Module 1+2 = 200 teaching hours A2 = Module 3+4 = 200 teaching hours B1 = Module 5+6 = 200 teaching hours Orientation course ‘Living in Germany’ = 100 teaching hours (The orientation course begins immediately after the end of Module 6) Total: 700 teaching hours
The integration course concludes with the DTZ (German test for immigrants) examination. Every participant receives the g.a.s.t. DTZ certificate upon passing the exam. The exam is administered at Colón.
Placement and registration. Every participant is required to take a placement test. Placement and consultation every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. – please arrange an appointment in advance! Free participation with a commitment from the job centre or the status of asylum seeker. Cost sharing: Integration courses are partially paid for by the Federal Office (BAMF). The personal contribution is €229 per module or the orientation course. You may be exempt from your cost share if, for example, you receive unemployment benefit II or social assistance.

Wie melde ich mich an?
Gruppengröße: 5-12 Teilnehmer/innen pro Kurs (vorübergehend bis 14 Teilnehmer/innen). Lernmittel: Die Lehrbücher sind nicht im Kurspreis inbegriffen.
Die Intensivkurse 5×5 finden im offenen Kurssystem statt und werden im 4-Wochen-Rhythmus oder wöchentlich gebucht.
Teilnahme-Vorraussetzungen
Kursbeginn für Teilnehmer/innen mit Vorkenntnissen ist jederzeit möglich. Hier geht es zum Einstufungstest. Teilnehmer/innen ohne Vorkenntnisse starten in Anfängerkursen.
Termine
Intensivkurs Deutsch 5×5 (25 Wochenstunden)
Unterrichtszeit: Montag-Freitag: 8:50-13:00 Uhr (für je 5 Unterrichtsstunden).
