The Activation and Placement Voucher (AVGS) is a funding programme offered by the Federal Employment Agency and job centres. The legal basis is § 45 SGB III (Third Social Security Code). The voucher entitles you to participate in a programme run by an approved provider (AVGS-MAT). Colón is AZAV-certified and recognised as an approved provider for AVGS-MAT.
Contents Your individual training sessions are tailored to your needs Alphabet and basics of the Japanese language at beginner level (if not already present) Reactivation and expansion of (any) existing vocabulary including grammar Development and expansion of work-related vocabulary (individual and sector-specific, e.g. in the fields of healthcare and social services, trade, hospitality, transport, warehousing/logistics or thematically, e.g. finance and accounting, human resources, procurement, sales and marketing, projects, etc.) Competence in reading comprehension (including work-/subject-specific texts) Competence in listening comprehension and speaking (including following speeches and discussions, holding conversations, small talk) Competence in written expression and correspondence in line with current standards: letter writing, quotations, reports, invoices, presentations, notes, faxes, emails etc., making appointments Competence in oral expression: overcoming language barriers through authentic situations with a focus on applying for jobs in the target language, practising telephone interviews and job interviews
Course objective The aim is to prepare you for the training and labour market or to identify, reduce or eliminate so-called placement obstacles through targeted, individually tailored language training in private lessons.
Certificate After successful participation, you will receive a Colón certificate of attendance stating the course content, scope and achieved language level. Each individual course also concludes with a Colón language test at your level.
Course duration / times The course duration is tailored to your need for support in the target language and comprises a maximum of 160 teaching hours in private lessons within a maximum of 8 weeks. The dates are arranged and agreed individually in advance.
Colón attendance certificate and test
This individual training can be conducted either as face-to-face lessons or online. If you do not have your own laptop or PC, you can borrow a Colón device (laptop) for your individual training.
Funding by the Federal Employment Agency or job centre through the Activation and Placement Voucher is possible. Course number: 123/6714/22

Gruppengröße: 5-12 Teilnehmer/innen pro Kurs (vorübergehend bis 14 Teilnehmer/innen). Lernmittel: Die Lehrbücher sind nicht im Kurspreis inbegriffen.
Die Intensivkurse 5×5 finden im offenen Kurssystem statt und werden im 4-Wochen-Rhythmus oder wöchentlich gebucht.
Kursbeginn für Teilnehmer/innen mit Vorkenntnissen ist jederzeit möglich. Hier geht es zum Einstufungstest. Teilnehmer/innen ohne Vorkenntnisse starten in Anfängerkursen.
Intensivkurs Deutsch 5×5 (25 Wochenstunden)
Unterrichtszeit: Montag-Freitag: 8:50-13:00 Uhr (für je 5 Unterrichtsstunden).
