Colón’s intensive courses are recognized as educational leave in Hamburg. However, anyone can participate: for work, leisure, school, and vacation. It does not have to be educational leave. The duration of intensive courses is 2 weeks – a total of 60 teaching hours (45 minutes each) from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. Intensive courses can also be booked for just 1 week (30 teaching hours). Group size: only 4–10 participants Public holidays: missed lessons due to public holidays will be made up on the remaining course days; the teaching time will then be 3 times a week from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM. Course levels: A1 – B1 placement test required! Booking notes / process for your registration: 1. Register online 2. You will receive a preliminary confirmation of registration 3. Placement test required – please take the placement test now and send us the result (not required for beginner courses) 4. Colón will confirm the appropriate course level and confirm your registration for your intensive course. If you wish to submit this course as educational leave to your company, please forward the confirmation of registration along with the official recognition as educational leave to your employer. 5. Please book your course in good time, ideally at least 2–3 weeks before the course starts. If you wish to submit your course as educational leave, please note that registration should take place 6 weeks before the course begins. 6. We use modern teaching materials that you can conveniently purchase at our foreign language bookshop in the building at standard shop prices (not included in the course fee).
